Location: Daytona Beach, FL (Hybrid) Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- Gain direct exposure to ASC 606 revenue accounting and contract analysis
- Work closely with the Manager of Contract Revenue on monthly close and reporting activities
- Develop expertise in reconciliations, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
- Exposure to Workday and other integrated financial systems
- Opportunity to contribute to system enhancements and accounting operations projects
- Prepare account reconciliations and support monthly revenue close activities
- Assist with revenue recognition and contract accounting under ASC 606
- Prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and research discrepancies
- Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements
- Assist with process improvement, automation projects, and accounting system initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
- Experience with ERP systems, system implementations, process automation, or learning new technologies is highly preferred
