CT Technologist – Radiology

Schedule

Start times are available at 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 5:45 PM. Flexible scheduling is required, including availability for variable shifts and graveyard coverage. Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays and possibly exceed weekend rotation needs.

Assignment Details

Patient ratio is 1:1. The facility expects a high volume of emergency care cases, primarily from the emergency department and some outpatients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of community hospital experience required; first-timers may be considered.
• Must possess current BLS, ARRT (CT or R accepted), CA CRT, and CT certification.
• Active compact state license required at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Experience with GE and Toshiba CT scanners, as well as PACS.
• Clinical skills required: Routine CT for head, brain perfusion, chest, abdomen, pelvis; vascular imaging including CTA; and contrast media preparation/administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and assist in interventional procedures as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while administering contrast media.
• Document patient care and procedure outcomes accurately within the electronic charting system.
• Assist with patient transport when required based on staffing needs.
• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Compliance / Notes

Parking is free. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Candidates must submit RTO requests and any specific scheduling needs upfront. Two references covering one year within the last three years are required.
