You're in San Antonio, TX. A customer calls—downtime is costing them money. You arrive on-site, isolate the problem fast, make the repair, and get them rolling again. If that challenge motivates you, this role is for you.
What You'll Do- Diagnose diesel engine and equipment issues with precision using advanced testing and troubleshooting methods.
- Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on diesel-powered vehicles.
- Service critical systems, including fuel systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Keep thorough service records—issues found, parts used, and work performed.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair plans, timelines, and maintenance best practices.
- Stay informed on emerging diesel technologies and tools.
- Follow all site safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; diesel tech certification preferred.
- Documented experience as a diesel mechanic/technician.
- Strong command of diesel engine theory, components, and systems.
- Comfort diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communicator with a strong customer service approach.
- Willing to work flexible hours and travel between job sites.
