Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Status: Full-Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.00/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler Specialist to support warehouse and production operations in Edina, MN. This position is responsible for picking and staging raw materials for production work orders, preparing finished products for customer shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently throughout the day. Previous warehouse or material handling experience is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and stage raw materials for work orders based on production schedules.
• Verify materials, quantities, labels, and work order information for accuracy.
• Pick and pack finished goods accurately for customer shipments.
• Prepare and organize materials to support efficient production workflow.
• Ensure materials are properly handled and stored in designated locations.
• Follow established inventory handling procedures to maintain accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining and improving warehouse organization.
• Identify and communicate material or inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support warehouse cleanliness and safety initiatives.
• Work independently to complete assigned responsibilities throughout the day.
• Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, picking and packing, inventory, or material handling experience preferred but not required.
• No formal education requirement.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with numbers, quantities, labels, and products.
• Ability to accurately match materials and products to work orders and shipping requirements.
• Ability to work independently and remain productive throughout the workday.
• Dependable, proactive, and willing to learn new responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift and handle materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

Working Conditions:

• Clean and organized warehouse and production environment.
• Regular movement throughout the warehouse during the workday.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, picking, packing, and material handling.
• Hands-on work involving raw materials, finished products, work orders, and inventory.
• Must follow established warehouse safety and material handling procedures.
• Position requires accuracy and attention to detail while working in a production-focused environment.
