Role Overview A Home Health Speech Therapist provides personalized speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing services to patients in their homes or facilities. They evaluate, develop, and review treatment plans, administer diagnostic tests, and monitor patient progress. The therapist offers instruction on communication aids, collaborates with healthcare teams on care coordination, and ensures accurate documentation of evaluations and treatments. Maintaining confidentiality and participating in ongoing professional development are essential responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA Minimum six months of experience in speech therapy Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification Strong organizational and communication skills Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Key Duties Conduct patient assessments, develop and review treatment plans, administer and interpret diagnostic tests, document patient progress, educate patients and families, and participate in care coordination and staff development activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
