Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat insects and diseases affecting trees and shrubs.
Monitor cultural conditions impacting tree health and recommend improvements.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain spray, fertilization, and injection equipment.
Perform integrated pest management tasks including administration, scheduling, inspections, sampling, treatments, inventories, equipment maintenance, record keeping, report writing, and customer relations.

Qualifications

On-the-job training offered.
Ability to identify local trees and shrubs.
Interest in working outdoors.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator license (training and exam cost reimbursement provided).
Basic understanding of landscaping practices and procedures.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently, thoroughly, and follow directions to complete assignments.
Thorough understanding of how to care for various types of lawns, greenery, and plants.
Ability to be a team player.
