Job Requirements | Ideal candidates will have:

• A reliable vehicle with insurance and a valid driver’s license
• (Some clients may require transportation; mileage is reimbursed)
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test results from within the past 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Specialty: Non-Medical Home Care

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and oral hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, including conversation, activities, reading, or accompanying clients on outings.
• Prepare meals and snacks, provide medication reminders and report medication-related concerns.
• Help clients with mobility (i.e., walking, transferring between a bed and chair, etc.)
• Assist with light housekeeping, such as laundry, dishes, changing linens, vacuuming, etc.
• Run errands and provide transportation or accompaniment to appointments, shopping, etc.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the care coordinator.
• Maintain a safe home environment and identify potential fall or safety hazards.
• Communicate professionally with clients, family members, nurses, case managers, and supervisors.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents
