Accounting Associate

Overview The Accounting Associate’s primary duty is to review daily transactions and communicates discrepancies to management while managing other duties. The essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Research daily exceptions for anomalies and discrepancies Communicate problems and discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner Correct entry errors as needed and provide feedback to site level bookkeepers Administer the company purchase card program Administer company vehicle registrations and the EZ tag program File all applicable documents in repository Review scanned documents for completeness and accurate filing Maintain relationships with internal customers Apply working knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of auditing to exception auditing Must have the ability to prioritize based on urgency Reception duties such as answering and directing calls, greeting guests in a professional manner Research and resolve customer questions Coordinate pick-up and delivery of mail services which includes but is not limited to US mail and third party carriers Process, receive, sort and forward mail Order, receive, stock, and distribute office supplies Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation It is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee’s assigned work site. No remote work is available Performs other duties as required and/or assigned The position requirements include, but are not limited to: High school graduate, college degree preferred 2 years accounting experience 2 years audit experience preferred Ability to meet strict deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft products Joining our team puts you on a path where opportunity for advancement is available.
