Physical Therapist The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing and directing Physical Therapy services to guests, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Responsibilities Screen patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms. Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop a treatment plan. Provide guidance and direction to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs). Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques. Maintain patient records and track goals and progress. Advise the patient and family about in‑home treatment options and exercises. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist through the State Board of Physical Therapy. Minimum of one year’s experience in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred. Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and CPR certification required.
