Vernon, Illinois. Practice at a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility! (

Requir ements:  

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Program
• NPs must hold Acute Care certification
• ACNP or PA must have practice experience post-education
• Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in Illinois
• Team player and collaborative

Opportunity:

• Nocturnist position working 7 p.m.- 7 a.m. on a 7on/7off schedule (Tuesday to Tuesday) providing coverage in a 16-bed CCU
• The primary focus of this position will be assisting in providing high-quality care to critical care patients, including patient admissions and consults, as well as seeing post-op surgical patients
• On average, two patient admissions per night
• Procedural experience in performing central and arterial lines as well as intubation is highly desired; willing to train the right candidate
• On-the-job training paired with a collaborating physician for support

Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, medical specialty, labor market, and other qualifications. The posted pay range for this position is what SSM Health reasonably expects, in good faith, to offer based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This position may also be eligible for incentive pay. SSM Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
