Pay: $22–$29/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

A Day in the Shop

You arrive at 7:30 AM, review the day’s shop drawings, and plan your setups. By mid-morning, you’re laying precise TIG beads on varied materials, checking fit-up, and verifying tolerances against prints. After lunch, you rotate through light fabrication tasks—sanding, grinding, and finishing—to bring each piece to spec. Throughout the day, you keep your station tidy, follow established safety procedures, and collaborate with teammates to maintain a smooth, high-quality workflow.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to execute precise GTAW (TIG) welds
• Produce consistently clean, accurate welds across multiple materials
• Inspect incoming materials and completed work for accuracy and quality
• Support fabrication with sanding, grinding, and finishing as needed
• Uphold safety protocols and sustain a clean, organized work area
