TravelNurseSource is working with Bluebix Health Inc to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30301!

The IR RN provides nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after interventions.

Department: 1037A NS Midtown Imag - IR RN

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures

• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during procedures

• Assist physicians with image-guided interventions

• Administer medications, including sedation and contrast agents

• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and education

• Respond to emergencies and manage complications

• Maintain sterile technique and ensure infection control

• Document patient care and procedural details accurately

Interventional Radiology RN

Will need to float to Atlanta or Meridian Mark. IR RN need. This includes: Drawing up Lidocaine for the techs, sending out path to Radiologist and Documenting Pathology that is received, Doing call backs with patients needing to be seen after their mammography exam is abnormal, assessment of patients ( BP, explaining procedures and documentation of medications that patient is on before Procedure), Dressing and holding pressure for biopsy site. And just being there for the patient during exam.
