If you take pride in preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals and want to be part of a team that truly cares, we'd love to hear from you!Position Type: Full-TimeHours: 6:30 am to 3:00 pmLocation: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317Cook/Dietary Aide Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.Prepare and assist cooking meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service.Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.Help maintain a clean and sanitary culinary department.Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.Perform additional tasks as required.Cook/Dietary Aide Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent required.Prior cooking experience in institutional and/or quantity cooking equivalent preferred but not required.
