Role & Summary of Responsibilities Be passionate about patient care, problem‑solving, open to learn new skills, comfortable in a high‑paced environment, and a team player. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule‑out DVT scans, and post‑procedure scans. Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment according to patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Complete medical intakes. Enter medical notes in the EMR system. Use sterile technique for procedure set‑up and prep patients for procedures. Assist during procedures. Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA. Care for ultrasound equipment and notify office of any issues. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co‑workers and the healthcare team. Key Qualifications Associate’s degree in Medical Sonography. Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer. Proficiency with EMR systems. Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer. RVT or RVS preferred. Lower extremity/vascular preferred.
