Summary:

Clinical Helpers are non credentialed team mate trained to provide basic hands on care for hospitalized patients. Clinical helpers assist the nursing assistant with hands on care.

Responsibilities:

1. Bathe

2. Feed

3. Assist with Toileting

4. Apply and remove restraints (soft wrist and mittens)

5. Complete CHG baths

6. Perform Foley maintenance care

7. Turn/Reposition

8. Assist with Activity Progression

Other information:

Education Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

License / Certification Requirements:

• Current BCLS certification.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is preferred.

• Superior interpersonal communication skills.
