Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the institution. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings within the facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, BLS certification; no prior experience required, although experience in acute care settings is preferred, and must have completed relevant nursing education and certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred; additional related education and/or experience is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Responsible for assessing patient physical, psychological, and social needs; formulating and revising care plans; coordinating and providing direct patient care; documenting in patient records; and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Will also participate in quality improvement activities and patient teaching.
