Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiographer will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in various hospital settings, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and surgical environments. They will ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety regulations and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images for diverse clinical situations.
• Prepare patients and provide clear instructions to ensure proper positioning and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
• Follow all safety protocols and radiation guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Assist in portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and surgical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver timely and effective diagnostic services.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ODH license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification.
• Possess proven experience as a Radiographer in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in taking diagnostic X-rays, including portable and specialized imaging.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of safety practices and radiation protection.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and patient care standards.
