Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

Compensation: $33.00-$41.00/HR

Location: Richmond, TX

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health is responsible for supporting the clinical, operational, and administrative needs of the department. This position provides high-quality nursing care, promotes patient safety, supervises assigned shifts, and ensures that treatment plans, nursing policies, and procedures are consistently followed.

• Assess patients within established timeframes and develop appropriate plans of care.
• Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and other clinical findings in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Oversee and supervise the assigned shift.

QualificationsEducation

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with applicable state regulations.

Certifications

• Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Requirements: 

-Behavioral Health experience

-RN License required

-1 year RN experience

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred, particularly experience working with:

• Chemical dependency
• Dual-diagnosis patients
• Psychiatric patients
• Geriatric patients
