About the Role:

HealthWealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is looking for a skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound customized sterile medications according to physician prescriptions and established formulas

Accurately measure, mix, and package compounded preparations including creams, capsules, solutions, and suspensions

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment following USP 795 and USP 797 guidelines

Assist pharmacists with prescription verification, labeling, and quality control checks

Manage inventory of compounding ingredients, supplies, and equipment

Document compounding records and maintain accurate logs in compliance with state and federal regulations

Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers

Requirements:

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license or registration required

Prior compounding pharmacy experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and/or USP 800 guidelines

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with pharmacy management software and compounding equipment

PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred

Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
