Product ManagerThe Product Manager will be responsible for supporting marketing, merchandising, and product development initiatives by executing projects related to existing products, new product launches, and promotional programs. This role analyzes product and sales data, assists with pricing, product placement, and promotions, and helps manage product development timelines. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills who can manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the marketCommunicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your productsManage and establish innovation and new-product pipelines to maintain competitive advantage across all key categories. Design and develop products on behalf of our customers with unique featuresPlan the launch of new products and releases to manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan; conduct product life cycle management including product launch and rationalizationCoordinate large projects with large groups of people. Manage different people and personalities to come together and accomplish a common goalBe the expert on your category, your customer, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competitionAnalyze data and make confident key decisions which affect the business and categoriesDevelop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your productsUnderstand pricing strategies. Analyze cost and pricing to create profitable programsStrong public speaking abilities to present new ideas, product knowledge, creative programs, and important reportsOwnership of the in-store programs includes optimizing product offerings, product displays, plan-o-gram designs, and merchandising elements - all data-driven (consumer, financial, competitive, etc....)Minimum QualificationsProven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar roleComputer skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExperience in market analysis and market intelligenceFamiliar with product marketing tactics (integrated marketing campaigns)Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)Excellent communication skillsKeen eye for detailCreativityAnalytical mind and strong quantitative skillsBachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field preferredPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentPrimarily an office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, and operation of standard office equipment, with regular visual focus on detailed information. The role requires consistent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds may be required.
