Lead MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of MRI staff
• Coordinates the work assigned to each area and monitors the work of the staff: develops and assigns daily schedule of assigned personnel and ensures accurate record keeping.
• Observes and assists technical and ancillary staff in the performance of job duties, including providing suggestions for improved work efficiency and quality.
• Performs preparation of control and quality control and assessment tasks (QA/QC).
• Ensures the department delivers quality services, in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards, to support operational excellence.
• Serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) students.

Evaluation and Implementation of Appropriate Care

Under the direction of the Radiologist, anatomically positions the patient and performs imaging procedures utilizing MRI. Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes. After reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patients abilities and condition, selects the most appropriate patient care plan.
