Operations Supervisor

Job Details Job Location: Phoenix, AZ 85021 Position Type: Maricopa Ambulance Job Category: Paramedic / CC Paramedic Responsibilities Interview, screen, hire and orient field staff. Evaluate, coach and discipline all field staff. Develop and staff master schedule, including call in/fill in positions. Track and monitor payroll discrepancies per company policy. Resolve field crew questions, concerns or issues regarding pay, benefits or other personnel issues. Direct and lead support staff in inventorying, ordering, receiving, stocking and issuing medical, office and shop equipment and supplies. Direct and lead outside vendors, fleet maintenance staff and support staff in performing preventive maintenance, repairs, cleaning and inspecting all fleet vehicles. Ensure that all field staff maintain appropriate certification and licensure for their position. Ensure that all field staff maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with patients, patient families, co-responders, other healthcare providers and the general public. Assist Medical Director, quality improvement and billing support staff in evaluation, training and follow‑up with field crews in protocol compliance and field documentation. Assist Director of Operations in ensuring all operations are in full compliance with local, state and federal regulations regarding the ordering, storage, use and record‑keeping of controlled substances. Assist Director of Operations in ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal contracts, regulations and ordinances. Perform other duties related to management and administrative functions as directed. Handle all Step1 grievances as defined by the current CBA. Reports To Director of Operations Medical Director – Medical Control on all patient care, protocol and clinical quality activities. Qualifications All Paramedic requirements. All Paramedic Field Supervisor requirements (must be currently certified as a paramedic in Arizona). Must have the ability to function as a leader, evaluating, coaching, training and directing field staff. Physical Requirements Ability to reach, push and pull. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and kneel for long periods of time. Ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty. Ability to lift and maneuver 150 pounds without difficulty. Ability to lift and maneuver 150 pounds up and down two flights of stairs without difficulty. Ability to walk a distance of one quarter of a mile without difficulty. Ability to complete all job duties during any and all hours of the day and night. #J-18808-Ljbffr
