The position is responsible for the daily front desk operations. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making and critical thinking skills to ensure the best customer service and safety for patrons. Individuals must be assertively friendly and have a working knowledge about facilities and services provided to members and must take price in the quality of their work by demonstrating effective communication and initiative. Individuals must also be able to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence while representing CLCCA. Collaboration and ability to work with others is required for success in this position.

Preferred Qualifications: Administrative experience, event experience , customer service experience, cash handling experience, security experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc. Ability to learn software programs quickly and efficiently.

Duties:

• Manage entrance into the center with card swipe or by accepting the daily fee.
• Enforce all policies
• Daily facility inspection rounds
• Assist with room & gym rentals, setting up chairs, tables, volleyball nets, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility. This will require light-moderate janitorial duties such as sweeping the gym, taking out trash, window cleaning, cleaning fitness equipment, vacuuming, etc.

Shifts: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm, 3pm-9:30pm; Saturdays: 7:45am-2pm, 2pm-10pm; Sundays 12pm-6pm.  Employee may be scheduled for a set shift or may rotate with other facility attendants.  Applicant should indicate in interview what shifts they would prefer.  Hours could vary between 15-29 hours per week based on workload and rentals.

Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Must live within 10-15 miles of the facility located in 77062 (Clear Lake) zip code.
