This position is full time, Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, no weekends or holidays. Job Locations:

Responsibilities:

• The Cytotechnologist is responsible for performing microscopic examinations, providing final interpretations of normal gynecological specimens, providing initial interpretations of non-gynecological, FNA and abnormal gynecological specimens using standardized procedures; assisting in the collection and preparation of FNA and biopsy specimens for immediate evaluation; understanding method principles; performing quality control and quality assurance activities and evaluating results based on patient demographics and history.
• The Cytotechnologist works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained.

Qualifications:

• 4 years/bachelor's degree.
• ASCP eligible.
