Director Of Ticket Operations, Omaha AthleticsTaymar Sales U.'s Director of Ticket Operations, Omaha Athletics, position will bring a revenue focus to ticket operations, while overseeing all ticket operations needs for all Omaha ticketed sports in addition other events at Baxter Arena. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of all ticket sales, outbound phone calls to generate new season ticket and group sales, retention of current season ticket holders through elite customer service, daily and weekly reporting, ticket system management and builds, and other duties as determined by the General Manager and the Athletics Department.Responsibilities:Day to day oversight of ticket operations strategy and execution for all ticketed athletic events.Manage day-to-day of all ticket operation tasks and box office functions for athletic and non-athletic events at Baxter Arena.Exceed all Ticket Sales revenue goals determined by senior management.Communicate with Omaha fan base through outbound calls, emails and face to face meetingsInitiate and execute ticket sales results for Group Sales, New Season Ticket Sales and Renewal campaigns.Oversee all gameday staff while being responsible for all system builds and inventory management.Generate reports and track overall ticketing revenue pace towards goals.Work as a self starter to innovate new initiatives to drive revenue for the athletics department.Represent athletics program and University with the highest integrity.Build superior relationships with all fans, donors and athletic department constituents.Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment to produce accurate results.Maintain a positive working relationship with all internal & external units of the department and University to ensure a positive event experience for customers.Qualifications:3+ Years experience in a Sports Ticket Sales/Operations roleProven track record and success in group ticket salesThorough knowledge of ticket sales processes and procedures.Experience in TicketMasterExperience in intercollegiate athletics or professional ticket sales with successful results.Bachelor's Degree with a degree in Sports Management or a related field.Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills.Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.Ability to be a self-starter and work independently.Ability to work various hours including nights and weekends.Strong work ethic, positive attitude, integrity, communication skills, and desire & ability to learn in a fast paced, highly competitive industryWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
