This position supports daily store operations by guiding clerks, assisting customers, and ensuring tasks are completed safely and effectively. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during your shift and support smooth store operations
• Customer Support: Assist shoppers, address concerns, and help maintain a welcoming environment
• Store Operations: Manage sales transactions, stock shelves, build displays, and keep the store clean
• Staff Training: Provide instruction to clerks so they understand store procedures and follow policies
• Inventory Oversight: Complete shift reports and ensure accurate cash and inventory management
• Safe Handling: Lift products properly and use store equipment such as scanners and pallet jacks

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly

• Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of retail sales work.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
