Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each client, utilizing thorough assessments and feedback.
- Document all client interactions accurately in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and share insights on client progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in therapeutic techniques and approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LMFT at A New Leaf Behavioral Counseling, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate life’s challenges, improving their mental health resilience and fostering stronger interpersonal connections.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid LMFT licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families with varying complexities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation.
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients, creating a safe and therapeutic environment for healing.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
