Position: Housekeeping Room AttendantJob Description: The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms.Required Skills and Requisites: Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey information and ideasAbility to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Responsibilities and Duties: Obtain room assignments from your Supervisor at the beginning of the shiftCheck your cart to make sure it is correctly stockedKnow the correct procedure for entering a guest room.Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms so nothing is missed.Check room for damages furniture and equipment.Notify Housekeeping that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant.Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of the shift so it is ready for the next day.At Palette Hotels, we are dedicated to creating and sustaining meaningful hospitality careers for our associates.
