Choctaw Nation Food and Beverage Position

You will help maintain a clean, sanitized and orderly kitchen to ensure the highest standards are achieved throughout the food and beverage operations.

Primary tasks include:

• Thoroughly cleaning equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards.
• Washing pots, pans, and traps while maintaining the neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.
• Cleaning and disinfecting walls, sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other areas of food service areas.
• Cleaning and replacing floor mats.
• Supporting the dish room, operating dish machine.
• Emptying and cleaning garbage cans in dish area and throughout kitchen.
• Performing other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job requirements:

• Must obtain a SERV Safe Certification.
• Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS.
• Understand government public health and, or safety regulations.
• Verbalize and respond to guests and fellow coworkers.
• General computer/keyboarding skills.
