Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist I

Hours per Shift: Approximately 40-44 hours
Experience: Minimum of one year preferred; new graduates eligible
License: California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
Certifications: ARRT required, Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required


Must-Have:
- Performs radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Assists and instructs patients prior to and during examinations.
- Evaluates each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
- Inspects and cleans equipment prior to use.
- Reports equipment failures and malfunctions to supervisor.
- Reports patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to QA policies.
- Produces images, organizes paperwork, and completes requisition data.
- Seeks additional duties during downtime, such as front desk tasks and assisting with clerical work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.


Description:
Works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager.
Responsible for performing general radiographic studies to established quality assurance criteria.
Produces radiographs and organizes images effectively.
Completes required paperwork and manages charging processes.
Ensures patient safety and well-being during all examinations.
Assists and instructs patients throughout their examinations.
Handles clerical and other assigned duties in the department.
Reports any equipment malfunctions promptly.
Cleans and inspects equipment prior to usage.
Demonstrates the principles of caring, communication, collaboration, and competence in all interactions.
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this role.
Must be capable of assisting in moving patients as necessary.
Weekend and evening work may be required based on department needs.
