Plant Operator

Job Description Shift\n \n \n 2nd Shift\n \n Description\n \n \n \n * Provide medical care ranging from minor incidents to acting as a first responder. \n * Support and assist Safety Managers in coordinating and managing health services. \n * Maintain workers compensation information for claims, and help schedule doctor visits and transportation. \n * Coordinate and perform pre-employment physicals and drug testing (post-offer, accident, and random). \n * Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs such as health assessments, immunization programs, medical care, wellness education, counseling, etc. \n * Maintain active and positive ongoing relationship with local occupational health clinic. \n * Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection and ergonomics programs including development and delivery of employee training. \n * All other relevant duties to the job. \n\n \n Requirements\n \n \n \n * Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required OR Certified EMT, Paramedic, etc. \n * Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. \n * Prior occupational health experience within a similar environment preferred. \n * Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. \n * Ability to ensure confidentiality of employee health information. \n * Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations. \n * Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. \n\n \n Physical Requirements\n \n \n \n * Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers. \n * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. \n * Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines. \n * Possible exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C). \n * Possible exposure to wet and cold environment. \n * Work around live and/or raw animal odors. \n\n \n Benefits Information\n \n \n Benefits Eligibility Varies Paid Time Off 401k Savings Plan Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance FREE $25,000 life insurance policy with additional life insurance programs available Company Sponsored Purchasing Program Perks & Bonuses: On-the-Job Training Provided Weekly Pay Check Promotional Career Opportunities All required Personal Protection Equipment is provided Company Cook-Outs, Safety Rewards, Giveaways, etc. Come be a part of a Family Oriented Company that offers so much more!
