BIM Modeler

Contract | $50–$72/hour | Hybrid or Remote | 3+ Years Experience Our client is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer with strong Revit and BIM coordination experience to support telecommunications and low-voltage design projects. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on Revit/BIM modeling skills with experience in telecommunications, security, fire alarm, life safety, or low‑voltage systems . This role is well suited for someone who enjoys multidisciplinary coordination, detailed design documentation, and developing constructable 3D models. Key Responsibilities: Develop, update, and manage Revit BIM models for telecommunications systems. Create detailed 3D BIM models and 2D construction drawings . Coordinate telecom designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines. Use Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for design development and BIM coordination. Identify and assist in resolving BIM clashes and coordination issues. Convert design markups and project direction into accurate, constructable deliverables. Follow project and client‑specific BIM, modeling, and documentation standards. Coordinate with BIM leads, designers, architects, engineers, and project teams. Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability. Estimate design and modeling effort based on project requirements and markups. Support coordinated, clash‑free BIM models and construction documentation. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of BIM design experience 3+ years of telecommunications design and/or construction experience 3+ years of Revit experience Experience with telecommunications, security, life safety, or fire alarm systems Understanding of BIM modeling and design documentation Basic understanding of wiring and cabling connections between devices and equipment Experience following client design and modeling standards Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams Willingness to learn new technologies and design standards Preferred Experience: Telecommunications systems Paging and intercom systems Audio‑visual systems Access control systems CCTV/security systems Life safety systems Control systems Network components and topology AutoCAD Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Candidates located within approximately 50 miles of an applicable office location will generally be expected to work from an office 2 days per week . Remote: Candidates located more than approximately 50 miles from an applicable office location may be considered for a fully remote position within the United States .
