Job Description This position offers a sign-on bonus to all eligible new hires! Company Allegheny Health Network General Overview Assists anesthesia personnel with the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment utilized during peri-operative procedures. Essential Responsibilities Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment. (30%) Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness. (30%) Maintain proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom. (15%) Manages equipment, supplies, and medication according to established guidelines to maintain safe, efficient, and cost effective programs. (15%) Participates in hospital, division, and department activities. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications Minimum Must meet one of the following qualifications High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Emergency/Medical or related experience Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program CPR – American Heart Association Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Preferred ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)
