Utilize your skills to help manage and coordinate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in both high school and middle school settings. Flexibility and communication are essential, with responsibilities shifting according to meeting schedules and IEP deadlines. Your contributions will ensure proper documentation, timely communications, and critical support for staff tasked with meeting the needs of students with disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Maine Special Education Teacher License
• Experience attending and participating in IEP meetings
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable updating IEP documentation
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various staff members
• Ability to travel between middle and high school buildings as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attend IEP meetings, primarily before or after the school day, according to school needs and your availability
• Draft Written Notices and other necessary meeting documents
• Assist with entering and maintaining accurate information in IEPs
• Provide meeting and paperwork support by coordinating with staff
• Offer steady support to staff to help them meet IEP responsibilities and deadlines
