Responsibilities Job Summary: Responsible for executing Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, cross-selling BJ’s Loyalty Programs. Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer services inquiries. Provides excellent and efficient member service. Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned. Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance. Strive for flawless execution and hold ourselves accountable. Act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any and all concerns, escalating as appropriate. Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate). Club Standards: Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily. Ensure items are stocked and promotional plans are executed. Maintain visible, accurate signage; keep areas clean and organized inside and out. Know your Business: Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department. See the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities: Promote BJ’s value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and member experience. Convert potential members by pitching all membership programs in accordance with company policies. Sell BJ’s membership products to new and existing members with high energy and determination. Drive toward goal achievement based on defined benchmarks. Demonstrate understanding of all BJ’s Membership options and Co-Brand credit card. Provide first-line support for membership, credit card applications, general questions, issues, merchandise returns, exchanges, product lookups, and pick-ups. Follow tax-exempt/resale membership policies in regard to retention and status. Resolve member concerns courteously and escalates when necessary. Assist with Buy Online and Pick Up In Club (BOPIC) orders. Maintain all club policies and procedures. Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential. Qualifications Prior front-line/customer service or sales experience preferred. Results-driven with proven success in goal achievement. Basic math skills preferred. Computer proficiency preferred. Environmental Job Conditions Most of the time is spent in a stationary position on hard surfaces; occasional bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping may be required. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds; may require lifting heavier objects with assistance.
