Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observation skills.
• Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and long-term goals addressing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families for a unified approach to care.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the healing journey.
• Uphold precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and entity regulations.
• Continuously expand your knowledge in the field through ongoing education and collaborative learning with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be completed within 30 days of your start date.
