Education Essentials

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar area.
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
