1228 Main by Wolfgang Puck 1228 S Main St Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA Description Position Summary: As a Baker at 1228 Main, you will be responsible for producing a wide variety of breads and buns in large quantities for daily deliveries. We are looking for someone with general bakery experience and a solid understanding of the bread-making process—from mixing to shaping to baking. This is a full-time, overnight role and requires availability from 9pm-5am. Key Responsibilities Produce and bake breads and buns according to standardized recipes and daily production needs Operate mixers, ovens, proofers, and other bakery equipment Shape and portion doughs with consistency and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Pay: $18 - $21 / hour Qualifications General bakery experience required; basic knowledge of artisan bread mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking. Basic knowledge of shaping, proofing, and baking artisan breads (including baguettes and sourdough), with a strong understanding of levain and poolish starters required. Must be punctual, team-oriented, and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to a fast-paced kitchen environment.
