Position: LPN Program Coordinator & Nursing Instructor
Location: Phoenix
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time — depending on program needs
We are seeking an experienced, highly qualified Registered Nurse and Nursing Educator to serve as an LPN Program Coordinator and Nursing Instructor for a Practical Nursing Program in Arizona.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the LPN nursing program, developing and maintaining the curriculum, teaching didactic and clinical courses, supervising faculty and students, and ensuring that the program remains compliant with the requirements of the Arizona State Board of Nursing (AZBN) and applicable Arizona education regulations.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operation of the LPN program.
Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the nursing curriculum.
Prepare course syllabi, course outlines, learning objectives, clinical objectives, and evaluation methods.
Teach LPN nursing courses in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
Coordinate clinical placements and maintain relationships with clinical facilities.
Recruit, orient, and support qualified nursing faculty and clinical instructors.
Monitor student admission, progression, attendance, academic performance, clinical performance, and graduation requirements.
Maintain student and faculty records required by the program and regulatory agencies.
Develop and maintain program policies, student handbook materials, faculty guidelines, and clinical policies.
Ensure curriculum alignment with Arizona nursing regulations, professional nursing standards, and NCLEX-PN expectations.
Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
Monitor NCLEX-PN preparation and program outcomes.
Assist with AZBN program approval, renewal, reporting, and compliance activities.
Participate in inspections, reviews, and communications with regulatory agencies as required.
Minimum Qualifications :
Current Arizona RN license in good standing or qualifying multi state privilege to practice in Arizona.
Nursing education and professional experience appropriate for an AZBN-approved practical nursing program.
Graduate-level nursing education consistent with the applicable Arizona requirements.
Minimum required RN clinical experience:
Nursing education/teaching or nursing program and administrative experience as required by Arizona regulations.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development, clinical instruction, student evaluation, and NCLEX-PN preparation.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
MSN, DNP, or graduate degree in nursing/education.
Previous LPN program coordinator or nursing program administrator experience. (Preferred)
Experience developing AZBN-compliant nursing curricula. (Preferred)
