This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")**Procurement Management:*** Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.* Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock.**Vendor Relations:*** Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.* Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.**Compliance & Reporting:*** Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other data.* Generate reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.**Continuous Improvement:*** Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.* Stay updated on market trends and new product offerings.* Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful platform operation, development, and business continuity.## Qualifications**POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.* Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).* Daily in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.* Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL*** U.S. High School Diploma or GED required*.** Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).* 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.* ISM/ASM or similar credentials preferred.**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES*** Strong negotiation and communication skills.* Analytical mindset with attention to detail.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.* Oracle experience preferred.**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT**The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
