Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Defect Associate in Costa Mesa, CA. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely for part of the week, with two days required in the office. The position involves representing various stakeholders in construction defect cases, including developers and contractors, in both commercial and residential projects. Duties Attend court hearings and participate in site inspections. Handle all aspects of construction claims, including discovery and depositions. Manage client communications throughout litigation. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active member of the California State Bar in good standing. Experience with construction defect cases is required. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written. Strong legal research and writing skills with attention to detail. Litigation experience with a proactive team player attitude. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Active member of the California State Bar. Skills Excellent communication and advocacy skills. Strong legal research and writing abilities.
