Schedules Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off. Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes. Shift 2A: Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am) Shift 2B: Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am) Pay & extras Competitive base pay (DOE) PLUS 10% shift differential AND extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and numerous benefits. Job Description Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Include Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating Identifying issues and performing repairs Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required Qualifications No specific education required 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.) Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required Must be able to read and write English Additional Information National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.
