Shift Manager

Description The position is for a Shift Manager at an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise. The franchisee is the employer. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure quality, service and cleanliness for customers. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, communicating with the next Shift Manager, meeting targets, and helping departments meet goals. Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
