Maintenance Tech

Volker Legacy Holdings is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliances
Conduct regular property inspections and identify needed repairs
Maintain landscaping, curb appeal, and assist with snow removal
Complete unit turns efficiently under the direction of the Property Manager
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation)
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and company policies
Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and team members

Qualifications

Previous maintenance or general repair experience required
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
