General Information

• Beds: 28; average census 13-16
• Minimum experience: 1.5 years (system requirement)
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
• Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
• Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
• Patient Types:Neonates all gestational ages
• Level 3 NICU
• Diagnoses include, but not limited to: Low Birth weight, High frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, total body cooling, feeders/growersNo ECMO, No cardiac surgery at this timePatient Ratios:RN: 1:1-1:4
• Required Certifications:BLS, NRP, PALS; STABLE (preferred)
• Required Education:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
