Order Puller/Warehouse

Job Description Job Description We are now accepting resume/applications for Order Pullers for the Morgan City, LA and surrounding area. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following: Scope of Work: Responsible for boxing up orders and getting them ready for shipping. This involves accurately inputting customer shipping information, and then using a commercial label printing machine to print the shipping labels. Required Skills: Strong oral & written communication skills Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task Ability to work effectively with others Proven ability to solve problems creatively Punctuality Duties/Responsibilities : Efficiently pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Arrange all pallets to ensure safe delivery of products to customers and inspect all pallets for accurate stickers and addresses Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Cleaning and preparing a job site Transport merchandise between receiving stations, warehouse and production areas. Record the material amount or count received and circulated. Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.. Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards. Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely. Lift and carry merchandises/material as needed. Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages. Load and unload merchandise to and from trailers. Mange house keeping activities when requested. Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized. Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities. ~ Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environmentImplement health and safety standards when carrying out job operations to ensure public and environmental safety Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks. Ability to work in varying hot and cold environments Documents Required: Driver's License/Identification Social Security Card/Birth Certificate ~ Must have reliable transportation ~ Must be able to pass a drug screen ~ Pay: ~$10.00 - $11.50 ~ Weekly Pay ~ Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday ~ Schedule: ~8-10 Hour Days (with weather permitting) ~ Monday - Friday ~ Weekends (as needed) ~ Duration of Job: Full-Time Tasks beyond those listed above will be asked of you, so a positive, can-do attitude is required.
