Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in a hospital clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated chemistry, hematology, and blood bank instrumentation preferred.
• Prior experience working in high-volume or acute care hospital laboratories preferred.

Assignment Details

• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Assignment Start: ASAP.
• May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
