Position Overview Are you a skilled GSE/Diesel Mechanic ready to take on a dynamic role with Alliance Ground International? As a GSE Mechanic at AGI, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our ground service handling equipment, ensuring the reliability and safety of our operations. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on all ground service handling equipment, including preventative maintenance to keep machinery in top condition. Set up, install, modify, and renovate equipment as directed, contributing to the continuous improvement of our GSE fleet. Maintain comprehensive inventory records of machinery, equipment repairs, and service cycle activities. Operate and drive various types of equipment, both motorized and non-motorized. Execute and demonstrate competence in preventative maintenance according to established schedules. Respond to on-call maintenance requests, including after-hours service calls, as directed by the GSE Manager. Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments of ground support equipment as required. Modify and overhaul power plant, drive-train, brake, electric, and hydraulic systems to ensure equipment reliability. Follow all safety guidelines, including responding to accidents involving ground support equipment and adhering to security requirements. Pick up required parts and materials for maintenance and repair of ground support equipment. Own and demonstrate proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment needed for equipment maintenance and repair. Complete all maintenance and repair documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and AGI guidelines. Keep the GSE shop and its equipment clean and serviceable, reporting any deficiencies to management. Fuel equipment as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental requirements. Liaise with Ramp management, customers, and staff in a professional manner when required. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 year of hands-on experience as a GSE/Diesel Mechanic (preferably in the aviation industry). Technical certifications or licenses are preferred. Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid motor vehicle driver’s license for both air side/non-air side operations.
