Activities Specialist | Road to Home

Job Purpose:The Activities Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities aimed at enhancing the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of clients. This role is pivotal in promoting a supportive and engaging environment that fosters personal growth, social interaction, and skill development.Key Responsibilities:Provides activity services in groups and individually.Conducts activity assessments with individuals.Clinical activities, occupational activities, pro social activities and relaxation activities in order to provide meaningful therapeutic environment for the programAttends treatment team meetings as directed and participates in and documents treatment planning.Documents provision of activities services to individuals and their response to treatment.
