Strickland, Nuske, Friend & Berry, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting firm in Medina, Ohio. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled accounting professional to work with a diverse client base while contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings.
- Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax and accounting matters.
- Assist with staff mentoring and review of work products as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
